We have a (concrete) floor

To prepare the floor for concrete, we laid a plastic vapor barrier against the ground, added a layer of  rigid foam insulation, and topped that with wire mesh. Then, for the radiant floor tubes, we attached long loops of PEX tubing throughout the floor in pre-planned zones to the wire mesh.

The concrete trucks arrived at 7am this morning, and the floor is poured…now it’s a waiting game for it to dry (we need sun and NO rain!!!) so it can be finished!
